Welcome to GO
Story by Hen Khan Go
“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Mathew 9:37-38
How It All Started
My father, Evangelist Zam Za Dal, became a Christian in 1945; he is the only one
among his brothers and sisters to be a Christian. God called him to be an
evangelist from c.1970-1990 in the Baptist circle, which was composed of 12 churches. He served the Lord as an Evangelist for 35 years. He always told us that when Kairo time was to come, Burma would become a Christian Nation.
As he walked
through the planning dynamics, my father-in-law, Reverand Khual Do, was convinced of this. He studied at the Mission Bible School in Tedim, Myanmar (1947-1950) and he graduated under
the mentorship of Reverand F. O. Nelson and achieved a Diploma in Bible School. Then they worked together with Reverand Khual Do. He has said to us several times that in the near future we would have a missions center for Christ. After many of these prophecies, we were able to start the Go Harvest Missions Center (GHMC) in 2005
to win a millions of souls in Myanmar and all over the world.
My name is Hen Khan Go and I grew up in a very good Bible based Christian family. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 14 years old, and after
being born again in 1976, my heart began burning for lost souls. I spent a
month in an unreached place called Keltal Village, which is located 20 miles
away from my home town. From there, three families formed a church. This was
the first time I went out to share my faith, and from then on, I was convinced of my
calling to serve the Lord.
After serving the Lord for several years, I was more
convinced that this is what I was born to do, and I prepared my heart and my mind,
praying on my knees. Since 1991, I have accepted the call of God to be His full-time minister.
After that, I decided to study the word of God in India for four years (1991-1995). My
fulltime pastoral ministry began on May 1, 1995. I served the Lord as pastor at
LCBC, where my father had served for the past 35 years. While being a pastor, I could
not provide for my family, so we started cultivating. One day I saw a 747 airplane
flying above us in the sky, so I prophesied to my kids, and told them to repeat
after my words, "One day our family will ride on a 747 airplane and preach the
Gospel of Christ, from nation to nation, country to country, all around the
world". Those words came true, and I flew to Manila, Philippines, in 1998 the
same year. After studying three years, God gave me a Vision for a Mission
Center for Christ in 2000 AD while I study my Master in Leadership at Manila.
When I returned from Manila in 2005, we started GHMC. GHMC is guided by
the vision that Myanmar will become a Christian nation, and a sending nation for
the Gospel in Asia and beyond. GHMC is a ministry that serves the Body of Christ in Myanmar in the area of missions. All that God entrusts to us is meant for the
benefit of the Church pursuing the vision God has given. GHMC works not in competition, but in cooperation with members of the Body of Christ. In this respect, GHMC adheres
to the unity of the Body. My Son, Evangelist Do Sian Lal received a call from God, and he quit his job as Electrical Quality Team Leader and Car Salesman at South Pointe Chevrolet in 2015.
The LORD gave him a clear vision to partner with Him to change Myanmar, and God gave him friends
to fulfill that vision. He decided to serve the Lord full time, as he wants to see the
whole of Myanmar reached with the Gospel, serving God together
with him, and transformed through all the campaigns we've done called "Myanmar Harvest Festival
Campaign". This is an outdoor public proclamation of the Gospel where we train indigenous leaders in
all spheres and send them out to their calling spheres to share the good news.
"The harvest is ripe..."
